Program highlights
Vibrant storytelling
Illustrated Mandarin books that build language skills through reading and engaging narratives.
Little storyteller
Children read alongside the host, building confidence, public speaking, and self-expression.
Interactive elements
Every session includes songs and crafts that complement the stories, so learning stays playful.
What happens in a session
Each session opens with an illustrated Mandarin picture book read aloud by our host. Children follow along, join in on repeated phrases, and are invited to retell parts of the story in their own words — the “Little Storyteller” segment that families tell us their children look forward to most.
Sessions close with a song and a short craft tied to the story, so the new vocabulary is attached to something children have made with their own hands.
Who it is for
Children aged 3 to 6, at any level of Mandarin. Native speakers strengthen vocabulary and reading confidence; beginners meet the language through pictures, rhythm, and repetition rather than instruction. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay throughout.
